Fate of the kitten in the photograph

Pudicat is in the process of trying to track the fate of the kitten shown in the above photograph which has caught the attention of probably millions of people around the globe.

The following is all the information we have been able to obtain for you on the fate of the kitten in the photograph.

Please read the article for all information first before commenting

Background.....

On October 4, 2010 Hungary suffered it's worst ever chemical spill when an aluminium leak started at an aluminum plant in Ajka, a town 100 miles (160 km) southwest of Budapest.

The tragedy is officially known as the Red Mud Disaster

EVENTS

An Animal Welfare Organisation known as NOAH Animal Home Foundation jumped in to save the stranded and affected animals over a period of 7 days, the mud was ankle deep.

NEARLY ALL ANIMALS WERE BROUGHT TO SAFETY AND RESCUED, not all, but nearly all.

The picture of the kitten in the above photo was, according to the source we traced where the first original post of the picture was done, taken in the town of Devecser two days after the flood when rescue operation was in progress. It is reported that this kitten was saved and cared for after the picture was taken. However, to date we could find no confirmation of it and various suggestions have been made otherwise from readers. We are simply just not sure yet and NOAH is investigating the origin for us.

Further updates to follow as we receive them.

We wish to express our deepest gratitude to one of Pudicat's readers, Ildikó Balogh, who has informed us about the internet pages given above. Bless you Ildikó.
